Tuesday Brain Dump: Too Blessed to be Stressed

Kaninang gabi, sobrang tamad kong tumayo sa higaan noong gisingin ako ng asawa ko. Parang ayokong tumayo para mag-ready para pumasok sa trabaho. Since monday morning, di na maganda ang pakiramdam ko, nilagnat pa nga ako noong monday shift. Yung parang lahat ng bigat at init ng katawan ay dala dala ko na.

Pagpasok ko nga nung gabing yun, nasabi ko nalang na "God, please give me strength"

Nagdecide ako na isulat ito sa tagalog para ma-express ko ang sarili ko ng mabuti. Parang sobrang stress ko na to the point gusto ko ng magresign. Pero naiisip ko lahat ng mga pangarap namin ng asawa ko at mga plano namin this 2016.

Naiisip ko din na super blessed ko kasi may trabaho ako. Unlike other people who are struggling to find a job that can sustain their families. I really appreciate naman that I have this job and I could not ask for more. Pero pag naiisip ko na ang liit ng sinasahod ko at napupunta lang sa tax at pamasahe ang kinikita ko eh naiistress talaga ako! haha

Kidding aside, ayokong nagpapastress pag money matters. Masaya naman kami ng asawa ko, sakto namang nakakaraos at the same time, nakakapag-quality time parin naman kami.

I am learning the art of stress management now. Stress is a big risk in my health. Based on studies, stress can lead to heart attack so we need to say NO to stress. I know we can't really avoid stressors in our life, but remember, breathe 3 times and move on. That is what I'm practicing now. Read inspirational quotes, browse funny Youtube videos, talk to your husband, your partner, your parents, your friends. Avoid negative people in your life. Let go of what makes you unhappy. Pray. Those are just few of the things that I do to forget the things that are stressing me out. I've decided din to have a notebook handy where I can write my thoughts. Parang brain dump and stress notebook. hehe.

I always keep in mind that I am too blessed to be stressed. God is in control.
